Welcome To Bowhouse Primary School's Website

Welcome from the Headteacher

Dear parents/carers,
On behalf of the staff, parents and children, I extend a warm welcome to you and your child as part of our school community at Bowhouse Primary School and ELC.
We hope you find the information on our website helpful as we begin to share your child's learning journey with you.
Whilst education continues to undergo many changes to prepare children for the demands of a rapidly changing world, the central aim at Bowhouse remains the same; to provide the best possible education for each child in our school, challenging and supporting them to achieve their potential.
Our staff are dedicated, caring and hard-working and are aspirational for all our children. We create an inclusive, positive and nurturing atmosphere in school and seek to involve and work in partnership with families to establish positive home/school links to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child.
If you have any questions or would like to find out more information about our school and ELC,  please do not hesitate to contact the school.

Best wishes,

Laura Swan
Headteacher

P7 Lockerbie Manor

P7 have had a great first afternoon at Lockerbie Manor. Pupils have all settled well and started activities.
The lack of signal is making it very difficult to post pictures on Seesaw even when connected to WiFi.
Hopefully this will become easier tomorrow. However, a video highlighting their stay will also be made and sent out to everyone in any case.

P3W Movie

Dear Parents/Carers,

Primary 3 have been enjoying reading Charlotte’s Web as our class novel this term. To finish our learning, we are planning to watch the film adaptation in class.
Please contact the school if you do not give permission for your child to watch the film in school.

Thank you for your support.
